Home Textile Tool Museum

The Home Textile Tool Museum is a hands-on museum offering a variety of workshops and demonstrations using tools and techniques of Early America for spinning, weaving and woodworking. Displays include spinning wheels, looms, yarn winders, warping mill, different fibers, a wide variety of hand and wood working tools, blacksmith shop, dyeing yarn over an open fire, dye plants, flax processing, 1800's Federal House with special textile displays, plus children's area for "hands on" and a children's garden. Special for 2013: "No Idle Hands", an outreach for children, includes free kits for children on select days.
Wyalusing Valley Museum
They show the area's local history including Native American artifacts, antiques, and Displays on how early settlers lived.
